The brooding landscape of Dartmoor is the setting for this beautiful composition. Taken in the autumn of 2024, this meant a long hike in wet weather, finishing with a two mile stretch along the Okement River past Black-a-Tor Copse. Carefuly camera and tripod positioning were a must to ensure that I framed the river with the left hand side of the tree, whilst framing the other oaks in the mid ground and background with the right side of the subject.
