Wheal Betsy - Cold and Industrial
I just couldn't help myself! This shot of Wheal Betsy in Devon is a composite image of the foreground during blue-hour before dawn and the earlier Milky Way sky shot earlier the same night. It has a fantasy feel to it that I just adore. Very different to the "warmer" image that I took of the building with low-level-lighting. It probably still needs a little work to remove some noise, but I'm pretty pleased with this one.
I think that it portrays the more industrial nature of the site, which was mined for at least two thousand years on and off. It also captures just how cold it was!!
Print run limited to 100 in 30x20; 50 in 45x30; 20 in 60x40; 10 in 90x60 cm
